Cooling-season check before KC summer: clean/inspect the condenser, check refrigerant pressures and electrical connections, replace a standard filter.

Fall furnace tune-up · HVAC · Every October
Heating-season check before the first cold snap: burner and flame sensor, ignition, heat exchanger visual, CO check, filter.

Gutter cleaning · Roofing · Every November
Clear gutters and downspouts after the leaves drop (one- or two-story home) and flag any loose runs or roof issues.

Water heater flush · Plumbing · Once a year, starting 2 months after you join
Drain and flush sediment from a tank water heater, test the T&P valve, and check the anode/venting where accessible.

Membership questions
- How do the included visits get scheduled?
- Each visit has a season (for example, the A/C tune-up in spring). About a week before it's due we open a normal Trades on Demand booking at your address and text you the job number. Dispatch then confirms a visit window with you, the same way as any other booking.
- What if the tech finds a repair?
- They quote it to you before starting. The included visit covers the standard service up to the amount listed; anything beyond that is billed after the work at member pricing. You always pay Trades on Demand, never the contractor directly.
- How does the member discount work?
- It's applied automatically to invoices on jobs you book while your membership is active. The discount comes out of Trades on Demand's platform fee, so the contractor's rate is unchanged.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes. Open your customer portal and choose Manage membership — you can update your card or cancel there. Canceling stops future billing; visits that haven't been booked yet are cancelled once the membership ends.
- Do you serve my house?
- Memberships are for homes in the Kansas City metro — both the Missouri and Kansas sides. We check the address and ZIP before checkout.
