Trades on Demand is a Kansas City metro dispatch service that connects homeowners and property managers with independent, licensed trade contractors.

• Contact details — name, mobile phone number, and email address you enter when booking, signing in, or applying as a contractor.
• Job details — service address and ZIP, the trade requested, your description of the problem, urgency, scheduling preferences, and job status history.
• Contractor information — business name, trades, service areas, license and insurance details and documents, and payout onboarding status.
• Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; we receive limited details such as payment status, card brand, and last four digits.
• Device and usage information — basic log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited), cookies needed to keep you signed in, and push-notification subscriptions if you enable them in the contractor app.
• Communications — records of texts, calls, and emails we exchange with you about a job, including opt-in and opt-out status for text messages.

• To receive, estimate, dispatch, schedule, and complete service bookings.
• To send job dispatch offers to contractors and booking, status, and payment updates to customers.
• To process payments, invoices, refunds, and contractor payouts.
• To verify contractor licensing and insurance and keep the marketplace safe.
• To provide customer support, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
• To maintain and improve the website and our services.

We share information only as needed to run the service:

• With the contractor assigned to your job — your name, phone, service address, and job details so they can contact you and perform the work.
• With customers — a contractor's business name and relevant credentials for jobs they accept.
• With service providers who process data on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe), text message delivery (Twilio), website hosting and file storage, database hosting, and AI tools that help draft job estimates from job descriptions. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
• For legal reasons — to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of our users, contractors, or the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

If you provide your mobile number when you book a service or sign up as a contractor, you agree to receive transactional text messages from Trades on Demand notifications. Customers receive booking confirmations, job status and arrival updates, and invoice and payment messages. Contractors receive job dispatch offers and job updates. We do not send marketing texts.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

• Message frequency varies and depends on your activity. Messages are transactional job, booking, and payment messages — typically up to about 10 messages per job.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to opt out of text messages. You will receive one final confirmation text. We will still contact you by phone or email about active jobs.
